The subjects for examination are written and oral. The written part will be arithmetic, English Composition, and one optional subject, and the oral part will include Reading. The father or guardian of each Exhibitioner will be required to agree in writing that except for urgent cause, to be approved as such by the Trustees, the Exhibitioner shall leave only at the end of a school year (July), and that in all cas-8 a term's notice shall be given before a boy is removed from the School. The Trustees reserve the right of withholding the Scholarship if candidates of sufficient ment do not present themselves, and no one will be elected who does not conna up to the Standard mentioned in the Clauses 54 and 55 of the scheme for the government of the School.
