I BONYMAEN. I A concert was given to Lance-Corpl. Petr MMlr, at St. Margaret's Church, i Bo.Lymaen, <M WfdTM?day evening. The chair ?a.s occupied by Lieut. John Body- combe, who is also home on leave from France. L.-Corpl. Manser "ras the recipient of a gift from the local fund. and aloso with a sum of money from the audience. The following took part: Mr. D. J. Jeff- reys, Mrs. Plkjnthrne, Miss Mand Owfrfi, Mis:, Fjssie Griff the, Mr. Hooper, Miss Lizzie Jwilcici?, Adeline Jones, Sybil P'mell, Eunice Phillips, H. Ballard awtl ?.raster B Spray. The acconipjinisrt was Mr. Juck Walters. A concert and organ recital were held at Salem Capfil y Cwm, Bonvmaen, OR Saturday evening, for the benefit of S. Llev.'oUyn, Cwm (who has been ill for rnotiy months) and T. RosBer, Cefn, Bony- maen (who met with an accident at the Copper Pit Colliery some months ago. The following: took part: Madame Jennie D. Ellis (Glyn-Nesth), Mr. Glanville Davies (Maesteg), and Mr. J. Lewis (Cly- dach). The organist was Mr. Louis 11. Torr (Swansea). Mr. E. S. Smith (Swan- sea), manager of the Mnnnesmami Tube Co., Ltd., occupied the chair.
