V f te r w a r d s at Ypres, in another charge, a shrapnel bii'let cal,ric.([ off the first finger of his left hand, severely lacerating other parts of it. An extremely sad experience of his was, that his bosom friend, Pte. Llewelyn Jones, of Skewen, fell by his side mor- tally wounded. Pte, Barrow carried him to a place of safety, where he passed away. On Friday evening he earnestly appealed to all young fellows to come for- wards to fight for their country. .———————— <
