The son-of Alt.-eod Mrs.- T. Reynolds,' Vale"Cottage, Tretle- C ottage, Tre d c- gar, he enlisted as a private in the Mo- aluouthsbire, Regiment, and on receiving his commission was posted to the Yorkshire Regiment.
