CARROG. My Dear Friends and former Parishioners. I take this opportunity of expressing to you again my heartfelt gratitude for the munificent gift which you made to me on the occasion of my resignation of the Rectorship of this Parish, which I have held for thirty years, a time of great happiness to me by reason of the kindliness and sympathy with which I have felt myself all along to be sur- rounded, to which your Presentation of ten years ago bears ample witness, and of which your last great generosity comes as the crowning testimony. My wife and I feel very unworthy of your great kindness, but it is a consolation to know that our sojourn amongst you is not to end, and that we shall still have many opportunities of meeting our old friends. It is utterably impossible to thank each one personally, as we would wish and so once more through the medium of the Adsain we extend to you, one and all, Churchpeople and Nonconformists alike, our most cordial thanks. Yours very sincerely, REES JONES. I
