North Wales Coast Cup. LLANRWST v. FLINT. (Rep!a\ed Tie.) It has been finally decided that the tie between Llanrwst and Flint be replayed at Rhyl on the 8th February.

NORTH WALES COAST LEAGUE. CARNARVON TOWN v. RHYL. The Canaries were once more "at home" on Saturday last, and entertained the Rhyl contingent in a League encoun'er. Capital football weatner prevailed,.and the "gate" was satisfactory. The visitors were late in arriving, and t'ic kick-off at the advertised time thereby delayed. The homesters played several reserves, and the seasiders were also not fully representative. The homesters won the toss and played down hill The visito. s started in a promising manner, and at once made tracks for Heard, but were repulsed smartly by Bennett. The home iront rank then got nicely away by the left, and Li was very prominent with some fine runs. The fo. m shewn by the seasiders was so far of a very poor description, and appeared to be quite unable to make any headway. The game was one of the most uninteresting witnessed on the Carnarvon ground this season, and the homesters ran out easy winners by six goals to one. LLANDDULAS RESERVES v. PENMAEN RESERVES. This match was played at Llaiiddulas last Satur- day. The home team won the toss, and had trie best of the play up to half-time, scoring two goals, Ptnmaen nil. In the second half, Penmaen played better, and were successful in scoring two goals, but Llaiiddulas claimed a penalty and snored, gaining a victory of three goals against Penmaen's two.

North Wales Coast Football Association. A meeting of the Council of the above Associ- ation was held at the Erskine Arms Hotel, Con- way, on W&dnesday week last, Mr R. W. Parry, chairman, pres ded, and there were present the follow ng representatives: Messrs Angel, Car- narvon; Mears, Colwyn )ay; Hughes, Rhyl; Henry Lloyd and Hairy Jones, Llanrwst; Wi-lman and j ones, Bangor; and the secretary, Mr J. Li. Williams,'Holywell. The protest made by Llanrwst against Jackson, of Flint U.A., beng inel g ble in the Cup Tie at Rhyl, on the Saturday previous was dismissed for the want of proof, and the fee was returned to L anrwst. The fare of the FLnt representa- tive was ordered to be paid by Llanrwst. It was dec ded to replay the final of the Junior Cup Tie at Rhyl to-morrow (Saturday), with Mr Beach, of Rhyi, as referee. The sem -final between Bangor and Rhyl for the Senior Cup orig na, y arranged for Febru- alfy 1st, at Llandudno, was changed to Wednes- day, the 5th February, at Llandudno. The rea- son of this change is that Bangor have a Com- b-nation match wi h Witton Alb-on on that date. Mr R. Hersee, of Llandudno, is the referee. The other semi-final for the Sen.or Cup between Carnarvon own and Holywell was de- cided to be played at Bangor, on, the 15th of February, w,th Air Charles Jones, of that city as referee. Several changes in the League engagements have been brought about by the above dec s ons. Other matters of a private and important nature were under the considerai-on of the Coun- cil.

(o) NOTES. (BY "VIGILANT.") Llanrwst and Llandudno were without a League match on Saturday, whilst Colwyn Bay were being severely beaten at B.mgor in a League match. Rhyl were also severely trounced at the Oval, Car- narvon. I extremely regret that. through no fault of mine, it is impossible to again give the League table this week. The promptness last season in sup- plying the table to clubs and the press is very much lacking this season. Carnarvon are making good progress in the League, and Bangor appear very close at their heels. Carnarvon take my fancy for ultimate success. For a match devoid of expectant enthusiasm the one at Carnarvon on Saturuay was eel tainly a good example. The Rhyl lot were fairly at sea, their form being miserable in the extreme. The only one that made anything like good work was L. Jones on the outside-left. He was always a dan- gerous player, but received indifferent support from his colleagues. The homesters were quick on the ball, and at times passed beautifully, and the feature of the forward rank was the innumerable good runs made by LI" and his fine shots at goal. Bennett, as a back, was a hard nut to crack, and this player amply verifies the good opinion I previously foi mcd of him. Still, I would sooner see him in the half-back line. The giant, Fred Jones, was in excellent furm, and played well with both his head and fed. How strange to see Fred miss a penalty ? I understand he has only missed one in all his lootbali career. Altogether the Car- narvon lot Wtl e immensely superior to their opponents, and fully deserved the handsome win they obtained. The Carnarvon Town club's management, with an eye to business, are seeking to strengthen their combination all round. Ned Hughes.of Llandudno, was a spectator ot the game on Saturday, and he is signing on for Carnarvon. They are in the semi-final stage for the Coast Senior Cup, when they meet Holywell on the 15th February, at Bangor, and they are also in the semi-final stage of the Welsh Cup, having to meet, either at Rhyl or Wrexham, trie victors of the match between the Royal Welsh Warehouse v Wrexham. It is saia that they have secured the Ramblers' goal- keeper. In three matches alone, Chirk, Oswestry, and Wrexham, scored between them 25 goals to Chester's solitary one, whilst Bangor and Newtou failed to penetrate th-e goals of the r opponents once. Rhyl and Birkenhead div-ded honours at the first place by each scor- ing tw.ce, and White Star Wanderers beat the Tranmere Rovers at Marsh Lane by 4 to 2.
