A DECREASE of J645 is noted in the passenger traffic receipts on e Cambrian Railways for thfc -week ended 23rd October, but those in respect of merchandise, minerals, and live stock were better by J6120. MARK WILDE, the ex- oldier, the second man to be accused of the murder last NNvemhpr of Mr G. H. Storrs, at Gorse Hall, near Dukinfield, was declared I- Not Guilty" at Chester Assizes and discharged. Cornelius Howard, a cousin of Mr Storrs, it will be remembered, had been previously charged with the crime and acquitted. He and Wilde somewhat resemble each other in appear- ance.
