BT HER MAJESTY'S ROYAL LETTERS PATENT. TAWES'S PATENT TURNIP MANURE. Professor WAY, the consulting Chemist to the Royal Agricultural Society, and Dr. Voelcker, the con- sulting Chemist to the Bath and West of England Agricultural Society, have conjointly analysed the bulk of 7,000 tons of Lawes's Patent Turnip Manure, at the Factory, in London, and have certified that it con- tains, on an average, 23 to 24 per cent of SOLUBLE PHOSPHATE, 12 per cent of INSOLUBLE PHOSPHATE and by the time it comes into the bands of the Farmers will contain at least 26 per cent of SOLUBLE PHOSPHATE. This is the highest testimony that can be given in favour of any Fertilizer, and demonstrates in the plainest possible manner, that LAWES'S PATENT TUltNIP MANURE stands pre-eminently at the head of all Manures for the Turnip, Mangold, and other Roots. PARTRIDGE, at the THRBB SALMOKS HOTEL, USK, On Wednesday the 6th day of June, 1866," At 12 for 1 o'clock precisely, in four several lots, the following FREEHOLD ESTATES, situate in the hamlet :of Clvtha, and in the several parishes, of Bettws Newydd, Tredunnock, and Llanbaddock.' Lot 1.—" NANT-Y-CAEW, a very improvable and for investment a most desirable Freehold Estate in the hamlet of Clytha and the parish of Bettwa Newydd, consisting of FAEM HOUSE, and OUT- BUILDINGS, and 120a. lr. 31p. of exceedingly good dry, and productive arable, meadow, and pasture LAND. The arable is dry and well calculated to grow turnips and barley the meadow and pasture is well adapted for sheep. There is a constant supply of water, a small brook running through the centre of the farm. It also abounds with game, as this Estate as well as all the surrounding lands are strictly preserved, and there is a most celebrated brake for woodcocks, with a prill of water running through it. This: Estate is situate about 7 miles from the most excellent market town of Aberga- venny, and about 5 miles from the equally good market town of Usk, and is now in the occupation of William Herbert, of Clytha House, Esq., at the annual rent £ 152 lis. 6d. Lot 2.— A small but most desirable and eligible little property known as "CROES ONNEN," in the parish of Tredunnock. It is situate on rising ground with a southern aspect, near the turnpike road from Usk to Newport, it being distant about 4 miles from Usk and about 7 from Newport, and it is close to the parish church of Tredunnock, and contains according to the tithe map and book of apportion- ment of that parish 12a. 2r. 25p. A more lovely spot than this to erect a cottage upon, it would be difficult to find, as the scenery is so perfectly picturesque and enchanting. The beautiful river Usk, so renowned for its fishing, is within a few minutes walk. The land is exceedingly rich and fertile, and has been excellently farmed and managed by Mr. Matthews, the tenant. There is some excellent thriving young Timber on the property, which will be sold with the estate, and there is also a useful Dwelling House and Buildings. It would be impossible, within the limits of these particulars, to set forth the beauties of this little property-it must be seen to be duly appre- ciated. Lot 3.—This lot is also a most desirable and eligible property, and is called "LLANLLBCHA," or LLAN- L'LECHA ISHA," also situate in the parish of Tredun- nock, and about a mile from lot 2. There is an ex- cellent House on this estate, suitable in all respects for a gentleman to reside in. It would form an ex- cellent and commodious Fishing and Hunting Box, and there are good Outbuildings. It contains ac- cording to the tithe map and book of apportionment of Tredunnock, 20a. Or. 25p. This little property, like Lot 2, is most beautifully situated in the midst of most lovely and enchanting scenerv. The noble river Usk flows at the foot of one of the fields, and like lot 2 it would be impossible to do it justice in the limits of these particulars, but it must be seen to be adequately appreciated. Lot 4.—These small properties called PEKTRB- WAIN and COED-NoRMAN," are situate in the parish of Llanbaddock, and though of small extent, are well worthy the attention of the small capitalist seeking a safe and sound investment for his money. The land is of excellent quality, dry, rich, and fertile, with an Orchard of Fruit Trees in full bearing and there is also a comfortable Cottage and Buildings. Pentre- Wain contains 6a. lr. 15p. according to the tithe map and book of apportionment of Llanbaddock, and Coed Norman, 6a. Or. 2p. Tkere is some useful Oak and Fir Timber on Pentrewain, which will be sold with the estate it is situate about S miles from Usk and there is a good parish road to the property.
