A Branch of this Society has now been formed for Wrexham and its neighbourhood, in connection with Birkenhead, and through the instrumentality of Inspector Grover, of the Royal Society, much good has already been done in the district. Ten convictions have been obtained against persons for gross cruelty to Horses, Donkeys, &c. It is estimated that it will cost between XSO and £100 per annum to sustain the Wrexham Branch, and secure the regular attendance of an inspector.
