The Governors of the Denbigh County S'hoool offer for competition to Boya attending Public Elementary Schools, three County Scholarships of the annual value of £ 4 10s. each, this being the amount of the School Tuition Fees, tenable in the Denbigh County School (and renewable from year to year on the recommendation cf the Headmaster). 1st. One open to boys resident within the School district, who are and have for not leaa than three years been Scholars in any Public Elementary School, and who shall on the day of the Examina- tion not have obtained the age of 13 years. 2nd. One open to boys re,ident within the School district who are and have for not less than three years been scholars in any Public Elementary School, and who shall, on the day of the Examina- tion, be Scholars in an Elementary School in a Town District, and shall not then have attained the age of £ 4 years. 3rd, One open to boys resident within the School District who are and have for not less than 3 years been Scholars in any Public Elementary School, and who shall, on the day of the Examination, be scholars in an Elementary School, in a Rural District, and shall not then have attained the age of 14 years, I The Governors, owing to some of the present Scholarship holders Laving at the end of the Mid- summer term, IDlY have one or more Scholarships to offer for Competition which will bfJ awarded on the result of the Examination to be held on 15th and 16th June 1906. The Governors reserve power, in the event of a town scholarship not being earned by a candidate eligible to compete for the same, to award the same to a candidate from a Rural School, and vice versa. The examination will take place at the County School on the 15th and 16th days of June next. Application, accompanied by a certificate for good conduct (in a closed env lope), from the Head- teacher of the elementary school at which the candi- ate is a p ipil, must be made upon an official form, which can be obtained from the uudersigned. A copy of the rules and also a copy of the time table shall be forwarded to each Canditate with the official form of application.
