Bangor THE REDUCTION OF PUBLIC HOUSES.â An influential deputation, representing various tem- perance associations, attended the Bangor Police Court on Tuesday to lay before the Bench a Jfietnorial asking the justices to instruct the police to prepare a full return respecting the public-houses the divsion, with the view of reducing them if hey were considered to exceed in number the vvatits of the population. The Chairman expressed syjnpathy with the objects of the deputation, and Said that the Bench were already taking action in he same direction.
