Penmachno Sewage Scheme.

Penmachno Sewage Scheme. LETTER FROM LORD PENRHYN. The clerk read a letter signed by Mr R. C- Trench, of the Bangor Estate Gffice, stating that with reference to the proposed sewage and water scheme at Penmachno, Lord Penrhyn's local agent (Mr E. Jones Williams) who was a member of the Council, had reported that the sewage scheme in its present state was decidedly objectionable. Under the circumstances, his lordship, added the writer, did not feel disposed to give the Council facilities for carrying out the scheme until he was assured it would not act prejudically upon the rate- payers of the district. Several other landowners who, together with Lord Penrhyn, had been written to for permission to Jay the pipes through their land, wrote asking for information and tracings showing the proposed route to be taken.âIt was decided that a committee of the Council should confer with Mr McIntyre, the engineer, on the subject.
