"V\7 HEREAS by Section 64 of the Local If Government Act, 1888, it is pro- Tided that whenever it is represented to the Local Government Board by the Council of any County that the alteration of the bound- ary of any Electoral Division of a County, or of the number of County Councillors and Electoral Divisions in a County, is desirable, the Local Government Board shall, unless for special reasons they think that the re- presentation oU/rht not to be entertained, oause to be made a Local Inquiry, and may make an Order for the proposal contained in such representation, or for such other proposal as they may deem expedient or may refuse rucli Order; and if they make the Order, may, by such Order, divide or alter any Electoral Division AND WHEREAS a representation has been made to the Local Government Board by the County Council of the County of Car- narvon that it is desirable that an Order should be made for the following purposes, that is to say — (1) The increase of the number of County Councillors for the said County from Fifty- two to Fifty-three; and (2) The division of the No. 8 Electoral Division, comprising the Urban District of Penmaenmawr, into two new Electoral Divi- sions AND WHEREAS the said County Council have deposited particulars of their proposals aforesaid at the County Offices, Carnarvon AND WHEREAS 'by Sub-section 4 of Section 59 of the said Act, any Order made in pursuance of the Act may, so far as may seem necessary or proper for the purposes of such Order, provide for all or any of the matters referred to in that Sub-section.
