THE QUEEN'S VISIT TO WALES. Mr R. D. Pryce, Lord-Lieutenant for Merioneth, has received the following com- munication relative to the Queen's visit to Wales :—" Sir,—I am directed by the Secre- tary of State to acquaint you that he lias received an intimation that her Majesty the Queen will leave Osborne on Thursday even ing, so as to arrive at Llandderfel Station at eight o'clock on Friday morning, the 23rd August, whence her Majesty will drive to Mr Robertson's seat at Pale. On Saturday her Majesty will drive to Llangollen. On Thurs- day her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice will lay the foundation stone of a church at Barmouth, and in the evening of that day her Z5 y Majesty will leave Pale foi Balmoral.—I am, sir, your obedient servant, E.
