LLANGEITHO. THE QUEEN'S JUBILEE.âThis event was celebra- ted here with enthusiastic loyalty. The day was generally observed as a holiday. In celebration of the jubilee, Mrs Davies, Cwrtmawr, opened her heart right loyally, and gave a tea, to which she invited all the inhabitants of the neighbourhood, irressective of their views either in politics and re- ligion. The tea was prepared at the schoolrooms, and many hundreds of people gathered together to do justice to the liberal table which had been provided by Mrs Davies; Tea being over, the people adjourned en masse to an adjoining field, kindly lent for the occasion by I Mr E. Davies, Wenallt, where sports were carried on.
