After attending the funeral she went to, bed, and the next morning she wss found sus- pended to the bedpost by a piece of stout siring. A letter was found in her pocket, together with two halfpennies. The letter ran Please, God, forgive me. I have not a friend in the world now my poor husband is dead. Oh, God, forgive me.
