WHEREAS by sub-section (I) of Section 9 of the Motor Car Act, 1903, it is enacted that within, any limits or place referred to in regula- tions made by the Local Government Board wdth a. view to the safety of the' public, on the application of the local authority of the area in which the limits or place are situate, a person shall not drive, a motor car at a speed exceed- ing ten miles per hour. AND WHEREAS the. County Council of Car- narvon have, made application to the Local Government Board for a regulation to be, made in pursuance of the said sub-section putting the above-mentioned provisions of that sub- section in force in so much of the Urban District of Llandudno 00 lies to the West of Vaughan Street, Llandudno. AND WHEREAS notice of the said applica- tion and of the time and marrnei in which ob- jections should be made to any such regulation appeared in the "London Gazette" of the 4th May, 1906, and in the "North Wales Observer and Express" of the 11th May, 1906, and the "Llandudno Advertiser" of the' 12th May, 1906. AND WHEREAS certain objections to the making; of any regulation in pursuance, of the said provisions have been received by the Local Government Board, and it is expedient that further inquiry should be, made in the, matter of the said application.
