Aberdare Police Court. I Wednesday, Nov. 1st.—Before Messrs. R. A. Griffith (Stipendiary), .1. H. Powell and Frank Hodges. Drunk.—John Bradshaw, in Cardiff Road, Aberaman, 12s. Language.—Isaac Jones, using in- decent language in Victoria Square, 9s. For a similar offence in Duke Street, Wm. Evans, Aberdare, was ordered to pay 9s. Mr. W. Thomas, solicitor, ap- peared for Evans. No Rear Lights.—Driving a. spring cart in Bridge Road, Cwmbach, without a rear light, was the charge preferred against Wm. Bowen, Aberdare'.—P.C. George proved the case. The Clerk said that the offence was now regarded as a most serious one owing to the dark nights. There was a previous conviction for a similar* offence, and a fine of 40s. or 11 days was imposed. Edward Jones, Hirwain, was also sum- moned for driving a cart without rear lights in Duke Street, Aberdare. P.C. Tumkins deposed to seeing the defend- ant.—^This was the first charge and a fine of 20s. was inflicted. Stray Dog.—P.C. Tomkins found a stray dog at night and traced it to Henry Adams, Gadlys, who was now ordered to pay os. for not keeping it in at nightfall. Sunday Trading.—John Bracclu, an Italian youth, was mulcted in a sum of os. for trading on Sunday.
