MESSRS. MORTON BROTHERS beg to return their thanks for the liberal support afforded them since they opened their Boot and Shoe Establishment at 39, Great Darkgate-street, Aberystwyth. During the few months we have been opened we have found an increasing demand for what is known in trade by the r.ame of "higher class" goods. We are therefore making it a speciality in supplying this demand at reasonable prices. We do not forget, however, that our largest demand is for what goes by the name of "medium class" goods (that is, boots that wear about equally as well as the "higher class," but deficient in style and finish), and we have no hesitation in saying that for genuine quality and reasonable prices our large stock is incomparable. There is anotherclass of Goods that go by the name of "Slop Stuff," that is, Boots made up solely for sale, and not for wear, the tops and bottoms ot which consist of al- mos- anything and everything but leather. This class we do not trade in, so therefore cannot supply them. We have also the privilege of selling Dick's Noted Guttapercha-bottomed Boots, which, for keeping the feet dry and warm during winter, are invaluable. We do all sorts of Repairs with Leather or Gutta- percha, at Reasonable Prices. NOTE THE ADDRESS— 39, GREAT DARKGATE-STREET, (Oppositethe Lion Hotel,) ABERYSTWYTH. SECOND-HAND SEWING MACHINES. (Official) Report of an inquiry of the British Government in the year 1862, printed for the House of Commons, 1862: It appears certain that the Hungarian Wine Growers do not adulterate their Wines, indeed; they are so generally good, that they would certainly be deteriorated if alcohol were added. While possessing a great resem- blance to the Wines of Burgundy and the Rhine, the better Wines of Hungary have greater body and strength, and would bo more likely to suit our t&ste. There is probably no country in which so great a proportion of good wine is made.P.15. JOHN H. DAVIES, APOTHECARIES' HALL, TERRACE-ROAD, ABERYSTWYTH. ESTABLISHED IN THE YEAR 1820.
