Bassett, Esq., and resolved unanimously,- That this meeting, considering the total inadequacy of Church room in the Parish Church of St. John to the present necessities of the Parish, deems it a duty incumbent upon it to promote, by subscriptions and otherwise, the immediate erec- tion of a New Church in the said Parish, capable of accommo- dating not less than 800 persons.
