KILLED WHILST PLAYING. The Fatal Accident to a Birmingham Apprentice. A coroner's jury at Birmingham on Wednes- day returned a verdiet of homicide by misad- venture in a case in which Ernest Inett, a printer's apprentice, whilst fighting a mock duel with a fellow apprentice named Stocker, fatally stabbed him. It was shown that Inett was armed with a penknife and Stocker with a printer's bodkin, and that the latter in lunging at Inett rushed on the point of the knife in his hand. The knife entered the lad's chest and punctured his heart, causing almost instant death. Inett was afterwards released from cus- tody.
