BANK HOLIDAY WEEK, AUGUST 4TH TO 9TK, 1890. I HAVE the greatest possible pleasure in calling' your attention to the above Festival, which will certainly prove t' be THE EVENT OF THE SEASON. I need only state tbaff OVER 1,000 PERSONS will take part in the performances during the week and that over £ 100 IN PRIZES is offered, and that I have spent over £ 109 in adver- tising the affair. These figures alone will convince the public of Aberystwyth and neighbourhood that I am doing all I can, regardless of expense, to merit their patronage and support. The Festival will be held in A LARGE PAVILION, Situated oil Queen's-road, behind the Catholic Church. HERE IS THE PROGRAMME FOR THE WEEK :— First Day, Monday, Aug. 4th. Prices Is., 6d. and 3d. DYSON'S GIPSY CHOIR will give one of their unique CONCERT ENTERTAINMENTS. The Choir consists of 12 young ladies, all the Old Favourites, with several new Members, who will render a. go d account of themselves. The GIPSY CHOIR BAND will accompany the Choir in many selections, aad also render many line Instrumental Selections, MR. A. LEWIS, TENOR, Winner of over 100 Eisteddfod Prizes, and MR. MOODY, BASS, Winner of scores of Eisteddfod Prices, Will assist the Choir at all their Perform- ances. Both these gentlemen are members of the celebrated Cardiff Prize Choir. 2nd Day, Tuesday, Aug. 5sh. Prices 2s., Is and 6d. THE T MOUNTAIN ASH CYNON HAR- MONIC SOCIETY, 50 in number, will render "DA FID AND GOLIATH," by Mr D. JENKINS, M.B. (Cantab). First time of Performance at Aberystwyth. They will be as sisted by the following Talented Artistes Madam Pryce rtighes, Llinos Buallt, Mountain Ash; Eos Wenallt, Aberdare; Mr Willie Herbert Mr Evan Thomas, Llew Rhondda; Mr Tom Bowen, Llew Mor- gan wg. Conductor: Mr HUGH ELLIS, (Asaph Glanffrwd). Accompanist: Mr J. H. M. HARRIS, A.C. The Festival Band will accompany the Cantata. All Englisk visitors ought to hear this Choius of Welsh Singers render this fine work, and certainly all our Townsmen ought to hear this, Mr Jenkins' most popular Cantata.
