The Reception, Waiting, and Operating Rooms are situate on the ground floor, closely contiguous to the Marine Terrace, from which tbey are entered by a covered corridor. Particular attention has been paid by the proprietors to the acquisition of good light, and that has been secured to the fullest extent, so as to enable first-class Portraits to be taken in all weathers, and with inconceivable rapidity. The Studio is fitted with elegant and comfortable accessories; and those considerations, coupled with Messrs. P. Hopwood and Co.'s desire to give the most entire satisfaction to their patrons, will, they trust, ensure for them a share of public favor. The Studio is open daily from 9 a.m. until dusk, and specimens of all styles lie openfor inspection. PRICE LIST ON APPLICATION. TO THE VISITORS AND INHABITANTS OF ABERYSTWYTH. THE proprietor deems it necessary to remark, in reference to the price list of Articles, that fluctuations JL in the Markets, arising from deficiency or excess of supply, fiscal alterations, and various other causes, operate against the maintenance of fixed or uniform prices for any definite period but should there occur any depreciation in value on any of the Articles, his customers may rest assured of an imme- diate reduction. Large consumers can be supplied with goods at this establishment cheaper thop if ordered direct from London. The proprietor pays carriage on orders for Teas, Coffees, and Spices, amounting to X2 and upwards, to any Railway Station. ttea department. TEA, being the staple article in the Grocery Trade, has particularly engaged the attention of the proprietor, and he has happily succeeded in culling from the markets all the choicest and rarest descrip- tions of Tea that judgment can acquire or capital command; and he feels assured that no establishment in Wales can possibly offer Teas upon the same advantageous and strictly merchant terms. Having for many years given the most particular attention to the selecting and roasting of Coffee, the proprietor can with confidence assert that, for richness of flavour, and a careful and scientific preparation, his Coffees are unrivalled; indeed, his fame in the Metropolis is so great for this article, that he some- times experiences a difficulty in executing the orders of his customers. He is happy to say he has been honoured with a very large and increasing sale, and to those who have not yet favoured him with a trial, he respectfully appeals for a comparison, even with the higher prices of other establishments. It is impossible to enumerate the numerous articles comprised in this department; suffice it to say, families will find the stock as extensive and varied as in any of the largest Metropolitan Establishments. limine anli Spirit Department. SPECIAL REMARKS. It is a subject of general complaint, that the consumer does not realize proportionate benefit from the late reduction of duty on Wine. To a great extent the fault lies with the consumer himself, and arises from his being fast wedded to old prejudices, that do not permit him fairly to recognize the benefit of the new order of things. The proprietor, buying direct from the grower, saves all intermediate profit-a fact that should not go unnoticed, as it enablesrhim successfully to compete with the largest firms in the Wine trade. Families are assured that all the Wines and Spirits supplied by this establishment are perfectly free from any adulteration, and each article as pure as from the Vine. The proprietor calls particular attention to the following selected articles which he considers well worthy of attention. They cannot be surpassed either in price or quality by any house in the kingdom, and will bear favourable comparison with what is usually sold at double the price. WHITE WINES. No. t Doz. Bott. Xo.
