Boiled Apple Dumplings. Five or six apples, suet crust, and sugar to taste. Pare and take out the cores of the apples without breaking them, fill up the cavity with sugar, and cover with suet crust, taking care to join the paste closely together. Put each into a floured cloth, and plunge into boiling water. Keep boiling for 45 minutes.
